Hello and welcome to Elmhurst Hospital Center website. My name is Christopher Constantino and I am the Chief Operating Officer at Elmhurst Hospital Center. Elmhurst Hospital Center is a 525-bed comprehensive medical center and teaching facility located in the western part of the borough of Queens. We have a major trauma center in the borough and our emergency room is the busiest in the borough and third busiest in the city of New York. In addition to that, we deliver more babies than anyone else in this borough. Our recently renovated facilities provide our patients with single and double-bedded rooms, state of the art operating rooms, standard procedure rooms, and a comprehensive electronic medical record system where all patient information is kept electronically.
