Mayor Eric Adams: Thank you. I'm happy to be here as New York City shows their support for the Ukrainian people. We believe that New York is the key (inaudible) America. This is one of the largest Ukrainian populations in the country. And I want to thank Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny. His vision. And as I said to the Ukrainian military that's here, they inspire me. Our country… They give us… With me is Commissioner of International Affairs Ed Mermelstein, who is also Ukrainian. To all of the men and women who are here who have served in our military, we want to also give you a thank you for the service of our country on all of the branches of service.
This concert means so much to all the artists who are performing. This concert means so much to the Ukrainian people. Your proceeds will go to continue to give the support that's needed. You may not be able to fight the war there, but you can support the war here. So we thank you for being here tonight. Let's continue to lift the Ukrainian people in our prayers. Let's continue to call for the end to this senseless war, and let's continue to watch the prosperity of the brave people of Ukraine. Thank you very much.
