Edit Shkreli's Biography

Edit Shkreli is an adjunct professor at New York Law School and an attorney. She has lived in the Pelham Parkway section of Community Board 11 since she and her family moved to the United States when she was a teenager. A long-time Bronx resident, she has an interest in positively shaping her own neighborhood and hopes to improve community life through her active engagement and involvement in the community board.

Edit strongly believes in the power and impact of community involvement. During the 2018 to 2019 school year, for instance, she coached eighth grade students at Icahn Charter School 1 to compete in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Program.  

Edit obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College and her juris doctorate (cum laude) from New York Law School. She enjoys hiking, biking, playing volleyball and off-the-beaten-path travel experiences.
