Resolving DOB Parking Structure Violations

To remedy a Failure to File a Parking Structures Technical Report (NRF):

A Qualified Parking Structures Inspector (QPSI) must submit an acceptable initial Technical Report Periodic Inspection of Parking Structures in DOB NOW: Safety.
Pay the late filing penalties owed - $1,000 for every month that an acceptable report is not filed and $5,000 for each year after the end of the sub-cycle filing window period that an acceptable report is not filed.

To remedy a violation for Failure to Correct Unsafe Conditions:

The unsafe condition resulting in an unsafe technical report status must be corrected and a Qualified Parking Structures Inspector must submit an acceptable PIPS amended technical report in DOB NOW: Safety
Pay any outstanding penalties for failure to correct an unsafe condition - See schedule in 1 RCNY 103-13 for the period with no active repair extension request(s) submitted prior to the submission of the acceptable amended FISP Technical Report.

To remedy a violation for Failure to Correct SREM Conditions:

Once conditions have been corrected, a Qualified Parking Structures Inspector must file an amended report.
Pay any outstanding penalties for failure to correct SREM conditions only after an amended report has been accepted.
