Ada Chan, a New Yorker fluent in English and Cantonese, and conversant in Mandarin, fondly recalls her father teaching her Tang dynasty poems and her mother telling her to remember her roots. Internalizing these lessons, she embodies a blend of Chinese traditions and New Yorker's boldness. Through her practice as a Trusts, Estates and Elder Law attorney, Ada witnessed the effects of language barrier on a person's rights. She is passionate in helping others to find their voices in the same way her parents raised her to have her own.
