Bartek Remisko is a trained conference interpreter from English and French into Polish and teaches English, French, and Polish. In addition, he works as a curator for arts and literary projects. Currently he is a curator of Literature and Polish-Jewish programming at the Polish Cultural Institute New York. He collaborates regularly with Frieze New York, The Armory Show, Residency Unlimited, Beach64retreat and Kosciuszko Projects. The exhibits and cultural events that he curates regularly in partnership with organizations such as the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, Independent Curators International, the James Gallery CUNY in New York introduce Polish authors and artists to New York City audiences and are very well received. In addition to a degree in Applied Linguistics, Bartek has completed programs in Art Administration at NYU and Curatorial Studies at the Department of Art History at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.
