The NYC Civic Engagement Commission (CEC) provides language interpretation services in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin), French, Haitian Creole, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Urdu, and Yiddish at select poll sites.
For the upcoming November 2024 General Election, the CEC will provide interpretation services on Saturday, November 2nd and on Sunday, November 3rd for Early Voting (Yiddish Early Voting services start on November 1st) and on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th.
For a map of CEC interpretation services in the upcoming election, visit the Poll Site Locations page. Visit the Find My Poll Site (External link) to find your designated voting location.
Please note your early voting location may be different from your election day poll site location, and your poll site might have changed since you last voted. The CEC's poll site interpretation services supplement but do not replace nor duplicate the NYC Board of Elections' interpretation services.
You have the right to bring your own interpreter to the poll room. It can be a friend or family member, but it cannot be your employer or union representative.
