On June 11th, 2016 DDC Community Partnerships and STEAM Initiatives participated in an afternoon of fun activities that celebrated the spring harvest of PS 7’s Edible Schoolyard. The Spring Festival, organized by after school program Union Settlement and the Edible Schoolyard NYC program, hosted students, teachers, and parents. Parents and students tested their knowledge on the “Wheel of STEAM” and won prizes. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about DDC and several of our STEAM Initiatives programs.
