New York City Districting Commission to Hold Virtual Public Meeting For Commissioners’ Training on Racial Bloc Voting Analysis
The Districting Commission will conduct a Racial Bloc Voting Analysis of the new City Council plan during the redistricting process to comply with the Federal Voting Rights Act. The Commission’s redistricting and racial bloc voting analysis expert will provide the Districting Commission with an educational seminar on the background and methodology used in Racial Bloc Voting Analysis.
