During the toy giveaway, kids also learned how our K-9s help to keep New Yorkers safe.
Members of New York City’s Boldest visited the NYPD 63rd Precinct in Brooklyn on Dec. 13 to spread holiday cheer to families in the community.
With help from K-9s Onix, Soca, Loki and Lenny, Investigator Guzman, Investigator McLeish, Officer Stephen and Officer Joseph-Pauline joined Officer Santa Claus and his merry helpers from the First Responders Club to distribute toys to kids.
While enjoying hugs from our K-9s, families in attendance also learned how our four-legged heroes work with our Correction Officers every day to help keep New Yorkers safe.
The festive giveaway was also part of the Department’s ongoing work with NYPD to support city youth and community members during the 2024 holiday season.
