FDNY pays tribute to its members who made the Supreme Sacrifice at Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony

The FDNY gathered Friday, May 24, 2024, to remember the 55 members of the Department who made the Supreme Sacrifice while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The ceremony took place at VFW Post 12033 at the FDNY Fire Academy. The VFW Post is named after fallen firefighter and Staff Sergeant Christian Engeldrum, who served in the Army National Guard.
