FDNY releases PSA after 6-alarm fire in Manhattan

The FDNY stresses the importance of electrical safety in a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) after a 6-alarm in Manhattan on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, seriously injured a firefighter and displaced dozens of residents.

The Department's PSA program is made possible in part with support from the FDNY Foundation, the official nonprofit organization of the Department.
