The FDNY celebrates 100th anniversary of Rescue 2 in Brooklyn

The FDNY marked 100 years of service from Rescue 2 at a centennial celebration Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Brooklyn. The celebration held inside of firehouse quarters included members, alumni, family, and friends.

Rescue 2 went into service on March 1, 1925, providing service to Brooklyn and all of New York City.
