Mayor Eric Adams appoints Robert Tucker as 35th FDNY Commissioner at Swearing-In Ceremony

On August 12, 2024, Mayor Eric Adams appointed Robert S. Tucker as the 35th FDNY Commissioner at the Department's Fire Academy on Randall's Island. A member of the Board of Directors of the FDNY Foundation, the Department's official non-profit organization, Commissioner Tucker has helped spearhead many lifesaving initiatives in New York City.
