Wireless, landline, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telecommunications service providers include a 911 surcharge on all New York City customer bills. All affected telecommunications service providers are required to collect this surcharge and pass it along to the City, minus a 2% administrative fee.

You can pay the E911 surcharge electronically at e-Services or mail in the completed NYC-E-911 form.
E-911 Surcharge returns and taxes are due by the 25th of each month.
