Property Tax Exemption Application Status

Use the links below to check the status of your property tax exemption application. This includes applications for the Senior Citizen Homeowners’ Exemption (SCHE) and Disabled Homeowners’ Exemption (DHE), the STAR and Enhanced STAR benefits, the Clergy and Veterans exemptions, and the Cooperative-Condominium Abatement Primary Residency Verification.

Application Status - Houses and Condos: Use this link if you live in a house or condominium, but not a cooperative.
Application Status - Co-ops: Use this link if you live in a cooperative unit.

What you need to know about the application review process:

After we have reviewed your application, you will receive an approval letter, a denial letter, or a request for more information.
If your application is approved, your benefit will appear on a future tax bill. Your approval letter will explain this in more detail.
