NEW YORK – Today, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) announced fifteen new appointments to their senior leadership team. During a time when it is difficult to hire and retain staff in public service positions, these team members have a wealth of knowledge and expertise critical to their roles. HPD's senior team members, from the most veteran to the newest, are critical to advancing the agency’s mission and fulfilling the promise to better New York.
Housing Our Neighbors isn’t just a slogan, it’s our mission, and HPD is building out our senior team with talented, focused, and dedicated public servants to do just that,” said HPD Commissioner Adolfo Carrión Jr. “Like any good head coach, you identify talent, put them in the right places and let them lead their teammates to wins. This team will provide the kind of leadership throughout the agency that’s a win for all New Yorkers.” <>HPD is currently ramping up agency-wide hiring at all levels and will be launching an aggressive hiring campaign later this month to fill vacant positions.
The 15 newest members of the senior team by office are:
Office of Asset and Property Management
Office of Development
Office of Enforcement and Neighborhood Services
Office of External Affairs
Office of Finance & Administration
Office of Legal Affairs
Office of Neighborhood Strategies
