NEW YORK CITY — New York City is trying to streamline the city's affordable housing lottery process with new units and a new website.

On top of adding 2,500 new listings by this summer, the website and online application process have gotten an overhaul to fix previous glitches in the system.

Department of Housing Preservation and Development Commissioner Louise Carroll explained the new website and system to PIX11's Betty Nguyen.
