Submission deadline: rolling
The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for qualified not-for-profit and for-profit organizations to participate in the rehabilitation and management of multifamily residential properties through HPD’s Affordable Neighborhood Cooperative Program, Third Party Transfer – Tenant Petition Cooperatives, and other Special Projects. HPD invites qualified individuals and organizations to submit descriptions of their qualifications to rehabilitate and create affordable cooperatives through these programs.
This is a rolling RFQ, and applications will be reviewed as they are received. Applications should be delivered to TaDeo Asojano, of Property Disposition and Finance; 100 Gold Street, Room 9-w6, New York, NY 10038. Please call TaDeo Asojano at 212-863-6819 to arrange a drop-off time. Only complete applications will be reviewed. Refer to Section VIII of the RFQ for details on Application Requirements.
HPD expects to qualify more potential developers than available properties. Therefore, some qualified developers will not be selected. HPD reserves the right to negotiate with any number of qualified developers, accept or reject any or all applications received as a result of the RFQ, or postpone or cancel the RFQ in part or in its entirety.
Please follow the link above to download the RFQ and all required forms. A hard copy of the RFQ may be obtained at HPD at 100 Gold Street, Room 9-w6. The RFQ contains a detailed description of the programs, eligibility criteria, and application requirements.
Inquiries regarding the RFQ should be directed to ANCP@hpd.nyc.gov.
