"I am so proud to be a part of this year's (2024) NYMM! As a Warrior Woman in music who has a strong mission to help and support the careers of both female musicians and women that work in the music industry in NYC, I am thrilled to co-host the Warrior Women Battle of the Female-led bands. The intention is to create and deliver a program where all women in music win! As an educator and service-provider to artists, I have too often seen the struggles creatives have to undergo to make it in NYC. This initiative from MOME is exactly what we need to build a creator economy in our city that can actually thrive! NYC is the world's home of arts and culture and NYMM represents an important piece of driving this forward.
