New York City Water Board: Request for Proposals for Financial Advisor

The New York City Water Board (the "Board") is a public benefit corporation whose primary duty is to establish and collect water and wastewater rates and charges in an amount sufficient to place the water and wastewater systems (the "System") of the City of New York on a self-sustaining basis. The System is operated and maintained by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection ("DEP").

With substantial System assets ranging from upstate reservoirs to in-City wastewater treatment plants, the Board and DEP seek to maximize the value of such assets and reduce risk for the ratepayers. The Board is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit technical proposals from vendors who are qualified to provide financial advisory services to the Board. The Scope of Services includes the consideration and potential procurement of public-private partnerships for infrastructure projects, particularly projects related to energy assets, and alternative operations.
