Auxiliary police officers are extra "eyes and ears" for the New York City Police Department.
Law Enforcement Exploring teaches young adults ages 14-20 the importance of higher education, self-empowerment, and developing positive relationships with law enforcement.
Citizens Police Academy is a 10-week program offered each year in the spring and fall that provides training in the legal, social, and procedural aspects of policing.
The Clergy Liaison Program establishes working partnerships between the NYPD and clergy leaders in order to improve public safety and police/community relations.
