The deadline to submit a form to request a distribution for the 2021 Tax Year is 12/15/2021, prior to 4:00pm ET. Forms received or that are not in good order after that date may be processed for the 2022 tax year. As an alternative you can also request a withdrawal by accessing your account online and selecting withdrawals (Loans cannot be requested online, a form is required). Requests submitted online prior to 4:00pm ET will be processed the same business day. It is important to note that any Withdrawal Request elected online is considered an independent request. An online withdrawal request and a paper form request will not be considered duplicate requests which may result in receiving two distributions. As a Withdrawal Cancellation Form is required to stop a pending withdrawal that submitted via a paper form, we cannot guarantee that a paper form withdrawal request can be canceled prior to any processing of an online withdrawal.
