Alysia Steinmann Alysia is the Office Managing Partner for the Metro New York City office of Ernst & Young LLP. In this role she leads the EY US member firm’s headquarters and largest office in New York City, as well as the office in Hoboken, New Jersey and two wavespace™ locations in Manhattan. She is honored to serve approximately 15,000 New York City-area professionals while fostering a culture of belonging among EYs people while providing excellent client service to clients throughout the tri-state area.
She has more than 20 years of experience advising public and private organizations, largely in the financial services industry. She has led a range of complex accounting and valuation projects, including on governance, regulatory matters, public offerings, and business combinations.
Alysia is deeply committed to New York City’s continued growth and revitalization. Currently, she serves on the boards of NYC Autism Charter Schools in Harlem and the South Bronx, as well as WhyHunger. She is also a Board Member of Achilles International and the Business Council of the State of New York. She also represents EY on the New York Jobs CEO Council, which seeks to train, empower, and hire 100,000 underserved New Yorkers as well as Mayor Adam’s Future of Work Task Force.
As a working mother of two sons with autism, she is an outspoken advocate for diversity, inclusiveness, and work-life balance. At EY, she sits on the Americas Professional Network Council, leads the NYC DEI Council, and is the Financial Services Executive Sponsor for Corporate Responsibility. She was named EYs Working Mother of the Year for 2021 and was chosen as an Impact Award Winner for 2022. Recently she was chosen as one of City & States 50 Above and Beyond Winners which highlighted the most influential women in New York State as well as a Notable Leader in Accounting and Tax by Crains New York.
Alysia is a passionate runner, completing 28 full marathons (and counting).
