George Ntim

As Director of Diplomatic and Community Relations at the New York Marriott Marquis, George Ntim’s specialized responsibilities include everything from cultivating relationships with dignitaries, celebrities, and all other VIP hotel guests, to working with local, state, and national government agencies to assist the hotel in its operations within the community.

Ntim serves as the Vice Chairman of Marriott’s New York City Business Council and as an Adjunct Professor at New York University in the Hospitality Management Department. He is also an enthusiastic volunteer for causes such as City Meals on Wheels, Children’s Miracle Network, City Harvest, and the Children’s Aid Society.

He also serves on several boards, including the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association Board, New York City Mayor’s Workforce Investment Board, New Jersey Governor’s Ethnic Advisory Council, New York City Academy of Hospitality & Tourism Advisory Board, Willie Randolph’s Foundation Board, and National Council of Ghanaian Association Board.

Ntim founded the African Development Foundation (ADF) in 2003. This international non-profit organization seeks to promote goodwill and strengthen relationships between the United States and Africa through youth-oriented education, sports and health initiatives. ADF’s mission is to prepare Africa’s youth for career and personal success in a global community.

He is an avid sports fan of baseball, basketball, and football. In his spare time, George has a personal interest in following political speechmaking.
