Scott Berger

Scott Berger is the President of Arista Air Conditioning Corp. and Kelnard Refrigeration/Kitchen located in Long Island City, NY. They are the industry leaders in commercial Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration and Kitchen installation and service throughout the New York Tri-State area. Through Scott’s vision and leadership, Arista/Kelnard has also carved a strong niche servicing the residences of high net worth individuals in Manhattan. During his tenure Arista/Kelnard has grown to over 150 employees while still maintaining its family atmosphere and its strong focus on continuing education and team building. Previously Scott held positions in sales, sales management and operations.

Scott serves on the National Board as well as the Education Committee for this leading HVAC industry organization. He has been involved in the rollout and continuation of the groups STAR qualification program and subsequently the GREEN STAR program, both of which Arista is accredited. Scott also participates in the planning of the educational offerings as well as the annual national educational conference. He is a trustee for Mechanical Contracting Education and Research Foundation (MCERF) which helps to fund education and research for the mechanical contracting industry. During Scott’s tenure the foundation has elevated its scholarship awards to students in trade programs. They have also invested in the research of RFID and its impact on the industry while also funding a study on the true “as built” successes of USGBC LEED certified construction relative to their certification scoring system. Scott is also a member of the Metropolitan Business Network (MBN) and Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI) at Babson School of Executive Education

Scott’s career can be defined in many ways by the phrase “service to others”. He has a true passion coupled with an impressive history of furthering the growth and development of others through strong leadership and collaborative learning environments. Scott’s dedication to the advancement of others is evidenced by his commitment to the multitude of organizations that continue to benefit from his experience, expertise and leadership ability.
