While helping their communities, clients help themselves by gaining skills that can enhance their opportunities for employment. In addition to basic life skills, WRAP members learn how to take direction, work as a team, and resolve conflict successfully. They also learn how satisfying it can be to connect with others and give back to the community.
Youth WRAP (Weekend Restorative Assistance Program) uses a restorative justice approach. It was created to help young adults on probation build stronger connections to their community and understand their responsibility for its safety and success. Once these young adults transition out of the justice system, those connections can help them move past prior mistakes and stay on the right track.
