Fast Buses for New York City

The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) are making significant investments to improve citywide bus service and infrastructure.

Next Stop: Fast Buses, Better Service is a joint program between NYC DOT and the MTA to deliver faster, more reliable bus service, invest in every part of the bus rider experience, and introduce new rapid bus service on NYC streets.
