Permit Application Forms

All LPC permit applications are now filed and processed through Portico, the agency’s new web-based permit application portal. By logging into Portico, owners of designated landmarked properties can apply online for LPC permits, upload supporting documents, track the progress of their applications in real-time, and seamlessly download final permits. LPC no longer accepts any filings or related materials outside of Portico.

Suggest A Landmark

To suggest a property or area for landmark consideration, submit one of the following forms:

• Request for Evaluation - Individual, Interior, Scenic
• Request for Evaluation - Historic District

Report a Violation

To report illegal work or landmarks in disrepair, submit the following form along with any supporting documentation:

*Not all projects are subject to an environmental review.

Request LPC Records

Historic Preservation Grant Program

To apply for a Historic Preservation Grant, submit one of the following forms:

• Grant Application for Homeowners
• Grant Application for Non-Profits

LPC Grant Program forms are also available in Spanish and Chinese. If you require assistance in another language, please call 212-669-7817 or email access@lpc.nyc.gov. LPC will provide free language services, including translation and interpretation, to any person requiring assistance.
