The New York Hall of Science

The New York Hall of Science (NYSCI) was founded at the 1964–65 World’s Fair and has evolved into New York’s center for interactive science, serving a half million students, teachers, and families each year. NYSCI serves schools, families and underserved communities in the New York City area, offering informal, hands-on learning through various products and services that use the “design-make-play” method of bringing delight and play to educating science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Check out at home activities and resources for teachers and care givers of elementary and middle school age youth.

Understanding COVID-19 and Global Pandemics

The Academy has a long history of convening experts to address global health crises, including the AIDS epidemic, and the outbreaks of SARS, H1N1, and H5N1. Continuing in that tradition, we're mobilizing our network to share scientific information and resources focused on COVID-19. Below you can find links to our programming and resources focused on the pandemic. We'll be making regular updates to this page. Visit site - Upcoming events
