DYCD invites all New Yorkers to join the fight to end gun violence as part of the City's #NotOneMoreShotNYC Campaign. Take the pledge today! Saturday Night Lights 
Saturday Night Light programs provide free high-quality sports and Saturday night activities for #NYCYouth ages 11-18, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, dance, martial arts, and more. One hundred thirty-one community gyms across the five boroughs help neighborhoods combat gun violence. Find a gym near you on the official SNL website.  
NYC Youth Summit 
The Catalyst Experience will be a first-of-its-kind, in-person event for young people ages 13-25. #NYCYouth can learn about investing, entrepreneurship, caring for their mental health, and more. 

Attend live forums interviews with entrepreneurs in Real Estate, Trading, Fashion, and Entertainment industries--live performances, food, business, investing panel discussions, and more. Are you 16 years old or older and want to discuss what your community needs? Your community needs your voice, energy, and passion. Join your neighborhood advisory board (NAB) and decide neighborhood priorities. Complete an application today!

Neighborhood Development Area (NDA) Public Hearings  
Attend your community’s public hearing and share what is most needed in your neighborhood. Community voice informs and determines how federal funds for social services for low-income individuals and families are spent. The public hearings occur virtually and in person.  Sign-up for the Public Hearing virtual session or attend the in-person session to testify. All sessions are open to the general public if you live or work in the Neighborhood Development Area (NDA).

Train & Earn   

Train & Earn is a year-long program for low-income youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who are not working and not in school. This program provides extensive job training and employment services to help participants find a permanent job. 

Advance & Earn

Advance & Earn is an innovative training and employment program for young adults between the ages of 16-24. Develop your career pathway with employer-recognized training, earn credentials and certifications, enjoy paid internships, and get comprehensive High School Equivalency (HSE) test preparation. Runaway & Homeless Youth

Youth Ask Youth Census
It’s that time again! The Youth Ask Youth Census (YAY)   is closing out for 2022 on Oct 17th, and we want youth voices in New York City to be heard! If you’re 13-24, we want to hear from YOU about your experiences and what you think needs to change in New York City. The 2022 YAY Census covers learning, civics, COVID-19, mental health, economics, policing, and more. Make sure your opinions are included this year!
