Bicycle Infrastructure Conditions
New York City’s bike network – presented annually on the NYC Bike Map – may be impacted by street construction or maintenance. This map highlights bike lanes that may be impacted due to construction permits and planned street resurfacing. In a future update, this map will include the location of temporary bicycle lanes. This map also includes Open Streets locations, bicycle parking, bike-share and scooter-share stations.
This map was prepared to meet the requirements of Local Law 124 of 2023. Approximately 0 lane miles of the bike network are planned for resurfacing as part of the Weekly Resurfacing Schedule. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or emergencies.

Open Streets
Approximately 0 lane miles of the bike network pass through streets designated as Open Streets. Please visit nyc.gov/OpenStreets for a list of locations, days, and hours. Open Streets hours may vary by location, are subject to change, and may include setup and breakdown time. Driver access may be limited or restricted when Open Streets are in effect.
