eFiling

eFiling is an online portal that allows customers to submit applications and payments processed in BIS. This includes green roof, solar, affordable housing and fee deferred New Building (NB) and Alteration 1 (Alt1) applications, as well as Alteration 1 no work applications.

All job applications processed in BIS are required to be submitted in eFiling except professional certification Builders Pavement Plan (BPP), full demolition (DM), landmarks with a ‘C designation - Calendared marked properties, legalization, no work projects, subdivision, and School Construction Authority applications. These applications are dropped off at a borough office.

Submit payments for benchmarking and hazardous violations in eFiling.
