Request a Televisit
The Department recognizes the importance of connecting individuals in our custody to their family and support networks through visits.
For a successful televisit, all you need is an electronic device with a camera, an internet connection, and an active email account.
Beginning May 10, 2023, televisits will take place on Fridays from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. Televisits follow the Department's existing in-person visit schedule, which organizes visit days based on the first letter of the person in custody's last name. Please refer to the Visit Schedule in order to determine which day of the week you may visit your loved one.
If you would like to schedule a televisit, please fill out the information requested on the web form. In filling out the form, you will be directed to select three potential dates for your televisit to occur.
In order to make sure equal access is afforded to everyone, you are only able to fill out a request form for the upcoming week. Requests for dates beyond the following week will not be fulfilled.
A televisit will be terminated immediately if any of the below behavior is observed during the visit. If an officer observes such behavior, the incarcerated individual's and/or visitor's televisiting privileges may be suspended according to current rules and regulations.
How to Join a Scheduled Televisit
Please note that a televisit is not scheduled until the visitor receives a confirmation email. You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of the last requested visit date. If you do not receive a confirmation, please submit another visitation form with different selected dates and times.
The Department is making all efforts to ensure that your scheduled visits occur without interruption. However please note there are many different reasons why a visit may be cancelled or delayed. These can include the individual in custody refusing the visit, the individual in custody participating in treatment or programming at the time of the visit, medical reasons that make the individual unable to attend the visits, and technological issues on both the Department's and the visitor's devices. The Department continues to evaluate and improve our televisit program to enhance people's connections to their loved ones.
