Radiological Equipment (X-Rays) and Materials
The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) is responsible for protecting the public from exposure to ionizing radiation from a variety of sources that include applications in medicine, research and educational institutions. To do this, the DOHMH issues licenses and performs inspections at licensed facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
