The following services and activities are offered virtually, in-person, or both. Most classes are in English, but if language services are needed, contact the center at least 72 hours before the class. The Brownsville Neighborhood Health Action Center hosts a variety of programs and activities focused on the health and wellness of Brownsville residents. Our clinical partners also offer primary care services. The Action Center is part of the City's effort to promote health equity and reduce health disparities in the neighborhood.

The Brownsville Multiservice Family Health Center Dental clinic provides services to all the community members it serves.

Newborn Family Home Visiting Program
The is a free service for all birthing parents regardless of age or immigration status. New birthing parents can get support with infant feeding and connecting to resources.

Health + Hospitals Brownsville Pediatric Clinic
The Brownsville Pediatric Clinic is currently only offering telehealth services, but children from newborn to 15 months can be seen in person for vaccinations.

Brooklyn Perinatal Network Health Insurance Navigation
Brooklyn Perinatal Network Health Insurance Navigation helps families, individuals and people who are pregnant obtain health insurance coverage, such as Medicaid, Family Health Plus and Child Health Plus. It also assists clients with renewals in these programs. Brooklyn Perinatal Network Health Insurance Navigation is currently only offering virtual services. An appointment is recommended.

We invite the community to join us for an afternoon of open conversations and meaningful connections at the Brownsville Neighborhood Health Action Center.
Explore your inner creativity through themed art activities! You will have the opportunity to destress as we support you in your current space of self-care and healing.
This free, virtual, cycle of classes will teach pregnant and support people about the signs and stages of labor, breathing and relaxation, and breastfeeding. Classes taught in English are eight weeks long; classes taught in Spanish are five weeks long.
English: Tuesdays, noon to 2 p.m. and Thursdays, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
This 30-minute session explains our nine-week cycle of virtual classes for parents in Brooklyn as they prepare for childbirth and then adjust to life with their newborn. Classes are suitable for couples and for parents who are not in a relationship with each other.
Tuesdays, 5:30 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, 1 to 1:30 p.m.
Healing Pathways to Parenting is a compassionate parenting class that will focus on psycho educational information as well as the emotional aspects of parenting a child.

This group is for parents, families and childbirth support people who have lost a pregnancy or a child due to pregnancy-related causes. This is a free virtual support group with occasional in-person gatherings.
A safe, welcoming and supportive space for women, caregivers and their families to connect to community resources and city agency services. We can refer you to services that will help you and your family avoid eviction, enroll in health insurance and find employment. The program provides services before, during and after pregnancy. Our services include childbirth education and newborn care classes, parenting classes, infant massage, reproductive health workshops, referrals and more.
