Contracting Opportunities Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How can I add my organization to receive notification of RFP solicitations?

Register to receive notices for all Human Services through the HHS Accelerator system. For non-human services you can complete DYCD’s request form or call DYCD at 646-343-6399.

How can I view DYCD's currently issued RFPs?

To view a current Human Services RFP you must be pre-qualified with the HHS Accelerator system. DYCD will post notices for all current RFPs as well as instructions on how to obtain a copy.

RFPs for non-human services will be posted on DYCD’s website and can be accessed without being pre-qualified through HHS Accelerator.

You can also view upcoming and current RFPs through the HHS Accelerator system.

Is my organization required to attend a pre-proposal conference to respond to a DYCD RFP?

Check the RFP to see if attendance is required. Generally, it is not but it is always recommended. Attendance allows the participants to have their questions answered about the RFP and to hear the questions of others and the answers to those inquiries. It helps the CBO to prepare a more competitive proposal.

If my organization did not win the competition for a contract, can we find out why?

Yes, debriefings can be scheduled after awards are announced and negotiations are finalized for a given RFP. Debriefings will take place in the form of a conference call. The Contract Procurement's office will review your organization's proposal and indicate the components making up its final rating. To schedule your organization's debriefing, email acco@dycd.nyc.gov or call 646-343-6399.

How can I check the registration status of registration of my contract with DYCD?

Please contact the Contract Procurement Office at 646-343-6399.

How can I report corruption about a City worker, another organization, or my organization?

Report to NYC Department of Investigations
