Salary

The starting salary for the Class of 2024 will be $84,975. You may want to become familiar with City benefits prior to your start date. Assistant Corporation Counsels are members of the City's Management Benefits Fund program. Information on City benefits is available at http://www.nyc.gov/olr and at http://www.nycers.org. A presentation on benefits will be given during Orientation week.

Dress Code

The Law Department maintains a dress code. In brief, business attire is required when appearing in court or meeting clients and witnesses; otherwise, business casual attire is suitable. You should review the dress code in its entirety. You can dress in business casual during Orientation.
