On Thursday, April 27, 2017, hundreds of New Yorkers convened at Hostos College in the Bronx for the 5th Annual Fair Housing Symposium, hosted by the NYC Commission on Human Rights and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development. The full-day symposium was broken down into two parts: one for tenants to learn about their rights, and another for housing providers to learn about their responsibilities.
