Build It Back

Build It Back is funded by $2.2 billion in federal Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) dollars and overseen by HRO in coordination with the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) and the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC).

The program assists homeowners, renters and landlords through property rehabilitation or reconstruction, home elevation, reimbursement for permanent repairs already completed, or acquisition of homes.
