Recent Law Graduates

Information contained on this page applies to recent law school graduates who are in the process of becoming admitted attorneys.

Learn about current vacancies at the Law Department for recent graduates who are still in the process of gaining admission to the New York Bar.  You can also submit your contact information to receive email notifications when appropriate positions become available.

Recent graduates who are completing a judicial clerkship next fall may submit an application for the Law Department's entry-level attorney class. Recent law school graduates who are no more than 3 years out of law school may also apply to our Corporation Counsel Honors Fellowship program.

Any recent law school graduate interested in the Law Department’s post-graduate volunteer program can read more about that program and apply online.

To learn more about the Law Department's legal divisions, you can read the descriptions of the divisions or the Office's Annual Reports.
