Unit Maintenance
As an IMD tenant living in a unit is under the Loft Board's jurisdiction, the Owner of your building must provide the following to residential occupants:
- water supply and drainage
- heat
- hot water
- electricity
- gas
- smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
- lighting in public hallways, stairs, fire stairs and fire towers
- entrance door security
- elevator service
- window guards
- any service previously provided on the effective date of the Loft Law under which the unit is covered.
