New York City Digital Accessibility Reports

Every two years we report on the state of digital accessibility in the City of New York. The report is required by Local Law 26 of 2016 and it covers NYC’s efforts to make it’s websites and digital products more accessible to New Yorkers with disabilities.

New York City Digital Accessibility Report 2019

The second report on the state of digital accessibility for the City of New York. It covers accessibility enhancements to websites, mobile apps, maps, videos and other digital content over the past two years. A sample of websites were also audited for WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance. New York City Web Accessibility Report 2017

Mandated by Local Law 26 of 2016, this report analyzes the state of accessibility of websites managed by, or on behalf of, the City of New York. The analysis is based on the City of New York Accessibility Scoring Methodology which is derived from WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards.
