Beginning Wednesday, November 13, 2024 and ending Thursday, December 12, 2024, Hylan Houses residents will have the opportunity to vote on the future of their development. Hylan Houses residents have been sent an official Notice of Vote that officially starts the engagement period as set by the voting procedures.

How to vote?
At the beginning of the voting period, each eligible voter will receive the following voting materials in the mail:

Voting in person
How do I know if I am eligible to vote?
Any person who meets the following criteria is eligible to vote:
“Household composition” is defined as the head(s) of household and all other residents with permanent permission from NYCHA to reside at the development. Household composition will be determined based on your most recent Annual Recertification or Interim Recertification.
If your Annual Recertification is overdue or if your household composition has changed, please complete a recertification as soon as possible by visiting the Self-Service Portal at selfserve.nycha.info. All changes to household composition must be received by Friday, September 6, 2024.
