START Program

The Scientific Teaching Academy for Recruitment and Training (START) Program includes Teaching, Recruitment and Training for the NYC OCME Department of Forensic Biology.

The START Program focuses on recruitment through participation in college career fairs and connects qualified students seeking internships with opportunities to work in the Department of Forensic Biology. 

Requesting talks and/or trainings on Forensic Biology operations through the START Program helps the public, as well as forensic and law enforcement agencies, to better understand how the Department of Forensic Biology performs its daily work.
