On April 27, 2011, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development (ODMED), as lead agency, issued the Notice of Completion for the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Kings Theatre Restoration and Expansion Project.
On December 30, 2010, ODMED issued the Notice of Completion for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Kings Theatre Restoration and Expansion Project, marking the beginning of the public comment period. A public hearing on the DEIS was held on January 25, 2011 at 6:30 PM at the Flatbush Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, 22 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn, New York. The comment period remained open until Monday, February 7, 2011.
On October 14, 2010, ODMED issued a Positive Declaration for The Kings Theatre Restoration and Expansion Project and directed that a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) be prepared. The Public Scoping Meeting was held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the Flatbush branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, 22 Linden Boulevard, Brooklyn, New York to receive comments on the draft scope of work for the DEIS. Written comments on the Draft Scope of Work were accepted until 5:00 PM on Friday, December 3rd, 2010. On December 16, 2010, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development issued the Final Scope of Work for the DEIS, which incorporated, as appropriate, comments received on the Draft Scope of Work and changes made to the project since the issuance of the Draft Scope.
