Green Property Certification

The NYC Green Property Certification is a land certification program of the NYC Mayor's Office that symbolizes the City's confidence that the property and its buildings are among the safest places in New York City to live and work.

The NYC Green Property Certification program was established by the NYC Mayor's Office of Environmental Remediation to provide formal recognition of properties that have achieved all applicable government standards for environmental investigation and cleanup in New York State.

NYC Green Property Certification is granted to all properties that successfully complete and maintain a cleanup in the NYC Voluntary Cleanup Program, the New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program or the NYC E-Designation Program.
