WorkWell NYC believes that every person should have the opportunity to live their healthiest life, regardless of their age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, or ability. However, the reality is that not all residents share equal access and opportunity to health care and resources that support their wellbeing. Structural barriers – like racism, inequality, and injustice – impact health outcomes disproportionally and burden under-resourced communities.
Project B.U.I.L.D. (Building Understanding, Inclusion, Learning, and Diversity) is committed to addressing matters of injustice and inequity by providing platforms to educate and develop awareness to improve the health and wellness of City employees in and out of the workplace.
