Engaging, high-quality, year-round programs located at 94 NYCHA Community Centers, offering sports, arts, media, computers, and homework help. Every summer, Cornerstones offer free programming and extended hours for teens and adults.

Beacon programs are school-based community centers serving children age 6-17. There are currently 80 Beacons operating in the afternoons and evenings, on weekends, and during school holidays and summer vacation

Free activities for youth and kids at parks and playgrounds, including organized sports, games, fitness demos, guided walks, board games, water games and more.

Free sports training and organized leagues for youth ages 6-19 in almost every sport, from baseball, basketball and soccer to track and field, floor hockey, double-dutch and karate. PAL’s Cops and Kids engages police officers to mentor, coach and compete with young participants for lasting and positive relationships.

Streets and public spaces staffed and programmed with athletic and recreational activities, arts and crafts for young people ages 6-16 for six weeks each summer.

Free or low cost access to fitness centers and programming including sports tournaments, swimming lessons, dance classes and computer workshops.

Competitive swimming for young people 6-18, culminating in the Five Borough Swimming Championship in August.
