On October 20, 2017, the New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a Notice of Completion for a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Self-storage Text Amendment.
A public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) was held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at 9:30 AM in the Manhattan Municipal Building, Mezzanine level, 1 Centre Street, New York, New York 10007 (access through the North Entrance), in conjunction with City Planning Commission’s citywide public hearing pursuant to ULURP. The public hearing also considered a modification to the Proposed Action, (ULURP No. N 170425 (A) ZRY). Written comments on the DEIS were requested and were accepted by the Lead Agency until 5: 00 pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. The FEIS incorporates responses to the public comments received on the DEIS and additional analysis conducted subsequent to the completion of the DEIS.
